Good to Be Home

Album Notes & Community Reviews

The incredibly prolific Los Angeles MC delivers a highly ambitious, double-disc concept album entirely dedicated to his complex relationship with his home city. Produced heavily by Bombay, 'Good to Be Home' utilizes incredibly dusty, heavily chopped soul samples and distinctly lo-fi boom-bap drum beats. It is a profoundly conscious, wonderfully nostalgic, and deeply urban homage to classic West Coast hip-hop aesthetics.
