Album Notes & Community Reviews
Following the massive mainstream success of their previous acoustic-driven album, the Canadian alt-country stalwarts take a surprisingly dark, heavily electric turn on 'Nowhere to Here'. The record heavily favors slow, psychedelic grooves and extended, often dissonant guitar jams entirely atypical for the band's traditional roots-rock catalog. It remains a fascinating, highly adventurous artistic left-turn that alienated some fans while deeply rewarding others.
