Album Notes & Community Reviews

Emerging from the ashes of the Finnish rock group Piirpauke, Bluesounds stripped their sound down to a tight, power-trio format for their debut. 'Black' merges blues-rock foundations with the angular, nervous energy of the post-punk era. The record made a significant impact on the burgeoning Finnish alternative rock scene with its moody, rhythmic approach.
