Album Notes & Community Reviews

The Italian art-rock outfit Bluvertigo debuts with a highly stylized, synth-heavy approach directly inspired by the European new wave and post-punk movements. 'Acidi e basi' perfectly marries Marco Castoldi's deeply philosophical, highly eccentric lyricism with bright, driving alternative rock guitars and prominent analog keyboards. It initiated a massively successful, highly influential trilogy of albums for the band.
