Album Notes & Community Reviews

Openly capitalizing on the international dance craze, 'Bo Diddley's a Twister' forced the rock and roll pioneer's signature syncopated beat into the strict rhythmic confines of the Twist. Despite its obvious commercial motivation, the album still boasts plenty of Diddley's raw, heavily tremoloed guitar work and infectious bravado. It inadvertently provided a major blueprint for the incoming wave of gritty British R&B acts.
