Album Notes & Community Reviews

The debut solo album from the prolific arranger and keyboardist laid the instrumental foundation for the signature CTI Records sound. Anchored by his iconic cover of 'Nautilus', which would later become one of the most heavily sampled tracks in hip-hop history, the project seamlessly integrates lush orchestrations with tight jazz-funk grooves.
