Album Notes & Community Reviews

Acting as a pivotal turning point in his career, 'Beautiful Loser' finds Bob Seger moving away from regional Detroit garage-rock toward the expansive heartland rock sound that would soon make him a superstar. Utilizing the Muscle Shoals Rhythm Section on several tracks, the album balances driving, blue-collar rock anthems with highly melodic, introspective balladry.
