Album Notes & Community Reviews
Produced by the visionary Mizell Brothers, flautist Bobbi Humphrey's 'Fancy Dancer' is a masterwork of mid-1970s jazz-funk. The lush, hypnotic arrangements seamlessly blend peaceful soul-jazz atmospheres with warm, deeply rhythmic backbeats that have since become foundational samples in modern hip-hop.
