Album Notes & Community Reviews
Chicago performer Bobby Conn's third album, 'The Golden Age', wraps satirical attacks on greed and American excess in elaborate progressive pop arrangements with his band The Glass Gypsies. Falsetto vocals, glam theatrics and shifting time signatures carry songs that treat hedonism and commerce as a single subject.
