Album Notes & Community Reviews

Vibraphonist Bobby Hutcherson reunites with trumpeter Freddie Hubbard for an energetic and remarkably buoyant session of post-bop and hard bop. The album features incredibly tight, joyous ensemble playing that balances complex modal structures with accessible, swinging grooves. It is celebrated as one of his strongest, most cohesive late-1970s Blue Note recordings.
