Album Notes & Community Reviews
The masterful vibraphonist delivered a remarkably serene, highly atmospheric session divided between unaccompanied solo improvisations and a stellar acoustic quartet format. The recording features an understated, incredibly fluid interplay between Hutcherson and legendary pianist McCoy Tyner. 'Solo / Quartet' serves as a pristine, deeply meditative highlight from the artist's later career.
