Album Notes & Community Reviews

'Total Eclipse' features Bobby Hutcherson in a Blue Note post-bop setting with Harold Land, Chick Corea, Reggie Johnson, and Joe Chambers. The album's compositions balance structural clarity with the freer harmonic language associated with Hutcherson's mid-1960s work. It also marks an important stage in his long partnership with Land.
