Album Notes & Community Reviews

Recorded with the trio's signature austere elegance, this double-disc set highlights the Swedish pianist's exceptional control of space and quiet dynamics. 'Serenity' balances free-flowing group improvisations with carefully interpreted works spanning from classical pieces to modern jazz standards. The crisp, reverberant production perfectly exemplifies the distinctive European chamber-jazz aesthetic associated with the ECM label.
