Album Notes & Community Reviews

As one of his multiple prolific releases in 2017, the underground Michigan rapper's mixtape solidifies his status as a pioneer of the shadowy, emo-trap sound. The production relies on deeply melancholic, atmospheric acoustic guitar loops and heavy 808 bass, setting a bleak backdrop for his deadpan, rapid-fire flow and apathetic lyricism. The project perfectly captures the insular, internet-driven aesthetic of the TeamSESH collective.
