Album Notes & Community Reviews
Entirely self-produced by Simon Green before he adopted a full live band format, this debut is a masterclass in organic, sample-based electronic music. Utilizing prominent breakbeats, warm jazz upright bass loops, and various world music textures, it laid the essential groundwork for the modern instrumental hip-hop and nu-jazz scenes.
