Album Notes & Community Reviews

'Tadpoles' collected Bonzo Dog Band material connected to their television exposure and their mixture of novelty song, music hall parody, and psychedelic pop. The group used comedy not as a supplement to rock but as a structural principle for arrangement and performance. The album preserves several of their most accessible pieces while retaining their surreal variety-show sensibility.
