Album Notes & Community Reviews

An instrumental tribute album consisting entirely of covers from The Beatles' 'Abbey Road', released just months after the original. The Stax Records house band reimagined the British rock compositions through their signature Memphis soul and funk lens. The cover art famously parodies the original, featuring the band members crossing the street outside Stax Studios.
