Album Notes & Community Reviews

Demonstrating their immense versatility as the premier instrumental force in soul music, the Stax house band expanded their repertoire with distinct Caribbean and Latin flourishes. Highlighted by the incredibly infectious, marimba-driven title track, the impeccably tight session proves the group could craft massive standalone hits entirely independent of the vocalists they normally backed.
