VI: Flora

Continuing one of the most eccentric conceptual projects in avant-garde metal, multi-instrumentalist Otrebor crafts a sweeping blackgaze record entirely without guitars. Instead, the beautifully melancholic, tremolo-style melodies are hammered out exclusively on distorted, multi-tracked hammered dulcimers. Lyrically, the project maintains its fascinating, eco-terrorist mythology detailing the eventual reclamation of Earth by plant life.
