Formed by Mike Patto and Ollie Halsall following the dissolution of Patto, this British hard rock outfit pairs aggressive, blues-inflected riffs with polished power pop melodies. Despite the undeniable instrumental pedigree of the band members, the album is frequently remembered for its highly controversial cover art, which overshadowed its tightly crafted rock songwriting.
