Album Notes & Community Reviews

Tasked with following up his mega-platinum blockbuster 'Silk Degrees', Boz Scaggs collaborated with top-tier studio musicians to craft the sophisticated smooth soul of 'Down Two Then Left'. The recording leans heavily into nocturnal, rhythm-driven yacht rock, featuring immaculate horn arrangements and silky blue-eyed vocal performances. It stands as a pristine document of late-70s West Coast pop production.
