Album Notes & Community Reviews

With 'Moments', Boz Scaggs shifted decisively away from gritty Americana toward the sophisticated, R&B-infused soft rock that would define his later career[cite: 1]. Co-produced by Glyn Johns, the sessions highlight incredibly tight studio musicianship and lush, blue-eyed soul vocal performances[cite: 1]. The hit 'We Were Always Sweethearts' established him as a premier voice in the emerging adult-contemporary rock scene[cite: 1].
