Album Notes & Community Reviews

Seeking a commercial breakthrough, Boz Scaggs teamed up with Motown producer Johnny Bristol to craft a sleek, heavily orchestrated soul-pop album. 'Slow Dancer' successfully moves Scaggs away from his earlier roots-rock sound toward the polished, blue-eyed soul style that would define his late-70s superstardom.
