Album Notes & Community Reviews

Retreating to rural cabins in New York, Arizona, and Vermont, the Canadian trio delivers an astonishingly vulnerable and dynamically powerful pop record. 'Deep in the Iris' pairs intricate, breakbeat-inspired electronic percussion with Raphaelle Standell-Preston's raw, soaring vocal performances. The album fearlessly confronts difficult topics of sexual abuse and heartbreak, creating a deeply introspective, emotionally devastating atmosphere.
