Album Notes & Community Reviews
Penned largely during the intense isolation of the COVID-19 lockdowns, Brandi Carlile's seventh album is a powerful, piano-driven reflection on domesticity, motherhood, and resilient faith. The project prominently features her soaring, stadium-ready vocal performances, blending Laurel Canyon-esque folk rock with modern, highly polished Americana production. It further solidified her standing as a central figure in contemporary American roots music.
