Album Notes & Community Reviews

Guided heavily by the innovative production techniques of Rodney 'Darkchild' Jerkins, the vocal star's sophomore album became a defining document of late-90s R&B. Moving away from her earlier teen-pop image, the multi-platinum record showcased Brandy's maturing, raspy lower register and famously featured the massive Monica duet 'The Boy Is Mine'.
