Album Notes & Community Reviews

Featuring a formidable rhythm section of Jeff 'Tain' Watts on drums and Robert Hurst on bass, this pianoless trio session highlights the saxophonist's profound improvisational freedom. 'The Beautyful Ones Are Not Yet Born' is a rigorous, deeply swinging post-bop exploration that features guest appearances by his brother Wynton and Courtney Pine.
