Album Notes & Community Reviews

Marsalis's working quartet of the period, with Kenny Kirkland on piano, Robert Hurst on bass and Jeff 'Tain' Watts on drums, plays a programme of originals and standards. The title was the saxophonist's joking name for jazz itself, offered to bandmates who had followed him through his pop years with Sting.
