Album Notes & Community Reviews

The third and final album from the Scottish folk trio is widely regarded as a pinnacle of the underground British acid folk movement. Dominated by the sprawling, twenty-minute title suite, the record utilizes haunting, intricate acoustic instrumentation and deeply spiritual lyricism to conjure a uniquely mystical, nocturnal atmosphere. Ignored upon release, it is now revered as a delicate, progressive-folk holy grail.
