Album Notes & Community Reviews

The third studio effort from the Los Angeles quartet continues their mastery of pristine, radio-friendly balladry and immaculate vocal harmonies. Featuring the enduring classic 'If', the beautifully orchestrated arrangements on 'Manna' helped define the smooth, melodic contours of early seventies soft rock. The release cemented David Gates' reputation as a premier pop songwriter of the era.
