Album Notes & Community Reviews
Often cited as the heaviest record in the band's extensive catalog, 'Ember' sees frontman Benjamin Burnley fully utilizing his backing musicians as collaborative songwriters[cite: 4]. The album noticeably incorporates harsh screams and down-tuned metalcore riffing while retaining the soaring, melancholic radio-rock choruses that define their sound[cite: 4].
