Behind the Light

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Emerging from a lengthy, multi-year studio silence, the veteran British quartet delivers a highly expansive and incredibly atmospheric continuation of their signature dream-pop sound. The compositions rely heavily on slowly building, effects-drenched guitars and Dominic Appleton's distinctively ethereal vocal melodies, frequently stretching into sprawling post-rock territory. It is a mesmerizing, deeply overlooked gem within the genre.
