Album Notes & Community Reviews
Bridging the moody romanticism of early 80s post-punk with the enveloping guitar textures of the emerging dream pop scene, 'Chasing Promises' is a deeply atmospheric cult favorite. Dominic Appleton's sweeping, melancholic vocals drift over lush, delay-drenched guitars and propulsive rhythms, carving out a beautifully nocturnal, autumnal sound. The album perfectly captures the ethereal transition taking place within the British alternative underground.
