Album Notes & Community Reviews

Co-produced by house music icons Masters At Work, 'Now More Than Ever' represents a collaborative project from soul-jazz keyboardist and composer Brian Jackson. Released via BBE Music as a massive triple-LP, the album reimagines and revisits classic tracks Jackson originally made with Gil Scott-Heron in the 1970s and 1980s. Boasting an all-star guest cast that includes Black Thought, Omar, and Lisa Fischer, the compositions seamlessly bridge their historic legacy of resistance and Black Consciousness with modern house and jazz-funk club grooves.
