Album Notes & Community Reviews

The second solo release from the former Stray Cats frontman attempts to modernize his signature retro aesthetic with glossy, radio-friendly pop-rock production. While leaning heavily on his virtuosic rockabilly guitar techniques, the album incorporates drum machines and synthesizers in a bid for mainstream chart success. It represents an interesting, transitional phase before his massive swing-revival success in the subsequent decade.
