Long before achieving global superstardom as the core of A-ha, Paul Waaktaar-Savoy and Magne Furuholmen formed the psychedelic rock outfit Bridges. Self-released in extremely limited quantities, 'Fakkeltog' is a fascinating, highly atmospheric early document of their songwriting capabilities, heavily influenced by 1960s art rock. It includes early melodic frameworks that would later evolve into A-ha's signature pop hits.
