Saturation

'Saturation' showcases the self-proclaimed boy band's eclectic and genre-bending approach to hip-hop, characterized by a dynamic blend of aggressive, hard-hitting production and moments of pop-oriented, melodic R&B. The in-house production, primarily from members Romil Hemnani, Jabari Manwa, and Kiko Merley, provides a backdrop for the various members to explore themes of identity, loneliness, and sexuality with both confrontational energy and vulnerable introspection. As the first of three full-length albums released by the collective in 2017, the project established their prolific work ethic and unique DIY aesthetic, cementing their breakout status.
