Album Notes & Community Reviews

Backed entirely by Ant's soulful, sample-heavy production, the Minneapolis emcee delivers an emotionally raw and intensely personal hip-hop record. The lyricism tackles complex issues of race, poverty, and human resilience with profound empathy and commanding vocal delivery. It stands as a masterful exercise in boom-bap storytelling, heavily informed by his Islamic faith and sociopolitical worldview.
