Album Notes & Community Reviews

Abandoning the pop-rock and disco elements of his earlier work, Bruno Mars delivers a flawless, incredibly glossy homage to 1980s and 90s R&B, synth-funk, and New Jack Swing. The brief, deeply nostalgic album is packed with massive, chart-dominating anthems celebrating wealth, romance, and hedonistic partying. It swept the 2018 Grammy Awards, winning Album of the Year, Record of the Year, and Song of the Year.
