Album Notes & Community Reviews

On 'Those Who Throw Objects at the Crocodiles Will Be Asked to Retrieve Them', composer and multi-instrumentalist Bruno Pernadas crafts a work of intricate art-pop that draws from a wide array of global influences including 70s psychedelia, space-age pop, jazz fusion, and afrobeat. The album is defined by its richly layered arrangements, which balance lush vocal harmonies and complex instrumentation with sudden, playful shifts in tempo and style. Through this detailed production, Pernadas builds an immersive, abstract soundscape that is simultaneously relaxing and stimulating.
