Album Notes & Community Reviews

Richard Terfry masterfully integrated the storytelling traditions of folk and country music into the framework of underground hip-hop. Delivering narratives with his trademark gravelly Tom Waits-esque drawl, the production seamlessly layers turntable scratches over pedal steel guitars and acoustic strumming.
