Album Notes & Community Reviews

Paying direct tribute to a central architect of West Coast country, this project features incredibly sharp, treble-heavy Telecaster picking and propulsive rhythm sections. The stripped-down, electrified aesthetic stands in stark, deliberate defiance of the string-laden pop-country dominating Nashville studios. The record solidified the raw, aggressive energy of the burgeoning Bakersfield scene.
