Bolstered significantly by the collaborative input and distinct slapp-bass presence of Primus's Les Claypool, the masked guitar virtuoso crafted his most accessible, groove-oriented release to date. The album weaves blistering, highly technical fretwork together with bizarre spoken-word samples, funk-metal rhythms, and eccentric turntable scratching.
