Album Notes & Community Reviews

Culled from deeply intense solo and trio sessions, this release highlights the troubled bebop pioneer at the absolute height of his terrifyingly brilliant technical powers. His blindingly fast right-hand runs and dense, highly complex harmonic substitutions completely overwhelm the driving rhythm sections, reaffirming his status as the premier, foundational architect of modern jazz piano.
