Album Notes & Community Reviews

Produced by Black Sabbath鈥檚 frequent collaborator Rodger Bain, the Welsh power trio's sophomore effort refined their unique blend of aggressive riffing and subtle acoustic interludes. Burke Shelley鈥檚 high-pitched vocals and intricate basslines provided a distinct counterpoint to Tony Bourge's monolithic guitar work. While achieving limited mainstream success initially, its sludgy, metallic energy became highly influential on the New Wave of British Heavy Metal.
