Album Notes & Community Reviews
Recorded in March 1988 at Bay Records in Berkeley and co-produced by Chenier with Chris Strachwitz, the album fronts him with his late father's Red Hot Louisiana Band, including his uncle Cleveland Chenier on rubboard and Harry Hypolite on guitar. Released months after Clifton Chenier's death, it was C.J. Chenier's first album as a leader, and he plays the accordion his father had left him.
