Album Notes & Community Reviews
Recorded in London during his political exile from Brazil, Veloso's 1971 eponymous album (often referred to as 'A Little More Blue') is a stark, deeply melancholic departure from his earlier Tropic谩lia work. Sung largely in English, the record features stripped-down contemporary folk and singer-songwriter arrangements that acutely capture his feelings of isolation, longing, and cultural displacement.
