A highly ambitious double album, 'Revés/Yo Soy' presents two distinct yet complementary works: 'Revés', a purely instrumental and avant-garde disc, and 'Yo Soy', a collection of more conventional (yet still eclectic) songs. Initially met with commercial resistance from their label due to its experimental nature, the record has since achieved cult status and is celebrated as a landmark in Latin American alternative rock. It was awarded the Latin Grammy for Best Rock Album in 2000.
