Album Notes & Community Reviews

Seamlessly blending complex jazz harmonies with highly infectious Afro-Cuban percussion, this deeply rhythmic concert effectively popularized the Latin jazz explosion on the West Coast. The remarkably dense, playful interplay perfectly translates incredibly complex tropical polyrhythms into a fiercely energetic, highly accessible format.
