Album Notes & Community Reviews

On 'Soul Burst', vibraphonist Cal Tjader works within the Latin jazz vocabulary he had helped popularize for American audiences. The record balances dance-oriented rhythmic patterns with the compact, melodic soloing typical of his Verve-era sessions.
